Recurring payments cover anything that repeats on a schedule — rent, a phone plan, streaming subscriptions, or a loan. Clarius logs them for you so you don’t have to remember.
Add a recurring payment
- Open the Budget tab and scroll to Recurring & Bills.
- Tap Add Recurring.
- Fill in:
- Name (e.g. “Netflix”, “Car payment”)
- Amount
- Category it belongs to
- Frequency — Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly
- Start date, and an optional end date
- Save.
From then on, Clarius automatically creates the expense each time it’s due.
Loan payments
Turn on the loan option to track a payoff: enter the total loan amount and number of payments, and Clarius shows your progress as you pay it down.
How it shows up
- Any category that has an active recurring payment appears in a dedicated Bills & Recurring section when you pick a category while adding an expense.
- See upcoming bills and your total recurring commitment on the Budget tab.
Managing them
Open Recurring & Bills to edit an amount or date, pause a payment (toggle it inactive), or delete one. Pausing keeps the history but stops new charges from being created.
