I forgot my PIN
For your privacy, the PIN is enforced on-device and can’t be reset remotely. If you’ve lost it, you’ll need to reinstall the app. If you had cloud sync or a backup turned on, you can restore your data afterward; if not, on-device data can’t be recovered without the PIN.
Sign in with Apple isn’t working
- Make sure your iPhone is signed into an Apple account (Settings → your name).
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- If it still fails, restart the app.
A Siri expense didn’t show up
Siri-added expenses are applied when you next open and unlock Clarius. If you have no budget yet, the expense waits until you create one. See Add by voice with Siri for the full troubleshooting list.
Siri says it can’t find my budget
The voice assistant reads numbers from the last time the app was open. Open Clarius, unlock it, and view your budget once — then ask again.
My data looks out of date on another device
Make sure cloud sync is turned on on both devices, then use Sync Now (Profile). Changes made on the web or another device appear after the app syncs.
The app feels locked / keeps asking for my PIN
Check Profile → Security → Auto-Lock. A short timeout re-locks the app whenever it’s been in the background, which is great for privacy but means more PIN prompts. Increase the timeout if you’d prefer fewer.
I don’t see a feature mentioned in a guide
Some features are part of Plus or Family plans, and a few (like trips and voice entry) are specific to the iPhone app. See Plans.
